I dont know if it has changed recently but isnt the supspecies name of this coral snake helleri? It is a Ribbon Coral snake isnt it?

It`s a Coral Snake ( Micrurus laticollaris ) from Mexico. or too called double collared coral snake.

its scary that a coral snake would look that much like a pueblan milk...I would never think by the color and head shape that it was a hot.

The only "helleri" i can think of is Crotalus viridis helleri, which is the S. pacific rattlesnake...i don't know any N. american coralsnakes with helleri in the scientific name...could be wrong though.
