Great picture there. Love that tan color he has, almost makes him look like an Egyptian Mantis. I have two ooths of this species I intend to hatch and release soon when the warm weather stabilizes and I hope to find adults like this later this year.

I think she has made the best of tungsten lighting/natural light 50/50, overall good light.Usually this type & similar types go brown in good light & green in low light [humidity might play a small part] but its usually light levels.She has made the best of high yellow light, i believe.Unlike most flower mantids, that have the most to gain if they can duplicate their background somewhat.I say most coz there are always exeptions !!
