Your guess is probably better than mine...I got him off of reptibid.com. He was just sold as "unusual". Sure is pretty no matter what his genes say about it though. You can't really tell in this picture, but on top of his unusual coloring...he has a yellowish stripe down the full length of his sides. It's just above the black markings at the outer edge of his belly.
