I notice that the fur is pretty short; so I'm guessing it was bred for cancer research. A bald rat makes for easier cancer exams.

i think it's adorable! if i was breeding my own rats for my snake and that came along it would completely become a pet, not food.

What an awesome double rex patchwork rat! I would love to be able to get one! I have only seen one picture before of a mink one in a rat book a while back.
