that is a really nice cage!! But i do have some concerns!
1. the snake WILL...push its nose against the screen and cause bad noserub!
2. is it going to hold heat?
I have used the same screen in one of the cages that i built....and the ball would try over and over again to push his nose threw it and cause bad nose rub.
This will not only cause nose rub, but mouth rot!
I do like your cage however I do think you will encounter problems with it!

hey canadianbacon...i guess while i was building it mesh looked the best...however i do understand wut your saying. it is not very good at holding heat. I plan on buying stronger lighting for it very soon. However my bp seems to not be rubbing against it...but i dont watch him all of the time to make sure of this. If you have any ideas on how to fix this problem i would be glad to hear them...thanks for the concern

My Ball didnt try pushing his nose threw the screen untill weeks after it was in the cage! I stuffed the ventilation holes with papertowel to stop him from pushing his nose into the screen...He got bad noserub and I was scared that it would turn into mouthrot! I would say put a some smaller screen over the steel mesh and put it on the inside of the cage so he cant get his nose into the steel mesh. Its such a beautiful cage i wish I could have told you about this earlier! If its possible....try to replace the screen with plexi or real glass! That is just way to much ventilation for a bp which prefers a constant 60% humidity!

all you have to do is take duck tape and cover the inside of the screen with it. It won't look as nice but you could do something on the outside to make it look better.

Hey! u should put plexiglass where the two screens are, and make the two screens go on the sides

put plexis glass in the front then put peg board on the side for venalation it will work out nice good luck
