100 Gallon RES Paradise. It takes three filters to keep this baby clean, she's a whopping 8 inches long and I've only had her for three years, if she gets any bigger she's gettin sent to live with the circus folk!
Woah... What filter you have on there that you need 3? One good powerful filter is more than adequate... Like a Filstar XP3, or an Eheim 2028...

Did you make this enclosure? If so, how?

Its made of plywood and 2part epoxy paint, its never leaked once. I got the idea from http://www.garf.org/tank/buildtank.asp it shows you how to build it and everything. I think RES seem to be like goldfish. They grow to the size of the enclosure, because my girl is HUGE. If she gets any bigger im gonna have to build a pool.

Turtles do not grow to the size of their enclosure, thats a myth. If you kept her in a 20gal tank she would still be that size. Female Red Eared Sliders grow to about 12in. About the tank, how thick of glass did you use for the front?
Thanks,
Chris

12inches?!?! my god, thats almost intimidating. I used 3/8 thick glass. Ordered it from a place that makes glass table tops, it was $65.
