Hey all! Where you all from? I live in Phelan...I ask because my soon-to-be brother in law was on Venom ER last week.

Is he the guy who drinks venom? If I ever get bit... Hope I get there too! I go tramping through the Chino Hills area alot lookin' for ruber's.

Yeah, he is the one who drinks venom!!! Related only by marriage... :) He keeps these things around his house, in his garage ... ewww....

Where do you go trapping exactly? And what types do you get - kings, gophers, garters, occasional rosie boa and rattler I imagine. I would love to do that.

no, no not "trapping".... "traMping"... just hiking and looking for snakes. I want to get some good shots of some ruber's.. photo's

My bad... I have never heard the term tramping like that.

Anyways, that's cool. That's what I do. I never caught a snake but I love to find them and take pictures.

I like to go shooting too. I usually go to Hodge Road. I dont shoot animals though, just the junk that's out there. Although there was a crow that kept messin' with me out there that I did want to take a 12 guage to! But I didnt

The venom from these Southern Pacific Rattlesnakes dont really effect you as long as you dont get it on or in your person.
Remember as long as you avoid the mouth, you should be OK!!!!
