hey...nice pic, beautiful snake to. I am thinking of buying a blood, I was wondering how you find their tempermant and what do you cage yours in? Thanks alot.

hey there,
the big boy in this picture is an absolute sweetheart. IMO, bloods can be picky with their moods, but once you learn to read the individual snake, you learn when to give them their space
I think the bloods reputation for an attitude is a bit overstated. If you buy a nice cb baby and get to know each other i don't think you'll have any problems. They're like most snakes, each has its own mood swings.
cage wise, they really don't take up that much space. They need floor space for how massive they are, but they are incredibly lazy. I'm working on getting him one of those 4x2 animal plastics cages.

I've got 3 bloods at the moment. 1.1 sumatrans, 0.1 borneo. I've also got a whitesided bullsnake and a crested gecko. have a good one

i heard bloods give a nasty bite is it true? I felt like getting one a couple days ago but i didnt nice snake
