Hate to burst your bubble, but that's not a Caddisfly larva. That's a Bagworm Caterpillar, the larva of the Bagworm Moth. Caddisfly larvae, while similar in appearance, can only be found underwater.

ChrisT - thank you for the correction on the critter I had found. I did some searching on the web and found out they're quite interesting.
