hey bro, wondering how long you've been keeping gaboons, etc. what your experiences with them have been like? i've only dealth with leos and boids in the past, but i LOVE the way gaboons look. i am not however, thrilled about having a snake that could very easily kill me. i am also not a fan of venomoid snakes, as i agree it takes the natural look away from them. let me know what you think about purchasing a gaboon.....

To tell you the truth they are a pleasure to work with but I must say they should only be kept by very experianced hot keepers...... Thay are not a good venomous species to start out with..... They are not easy to keep alive in captivity if you do not know about their natural habitat and special captive requirments..... Dehydration and URIs can be a problem if you do not know what you are doing..... Also that are not tame or placid..... They are ambush hunters and that is how they hunt...... If you put your hand in their strike zone you will get bitten..... Being that you have only kept boids and geckos I would not suggest you buy one..... Do lots of research and train with an experiaced hot keeper before you dive right in because it CAN cost you life or limb.....
