This is Chopper's temp housing while I put together this HIGH TECH ULTRA MASIVE CAGE that will house him through full growth. As you can see from the extensive detail in how I built this cage from the running water, which he loves to lay directly under, to the Mexican mountain rock slanted as a stream, heated water at aprox. 81F, topped off with a inferated red heat lamp. Being that he's positioned in between to windows, it allows him to get natural sunlight and greatly benefits him with the natural timing from day to night. I'm using a sweet little bio filter that working perfect and he's not showing any aggression to any of the objects in his tank. But me, he's naturally snappy and I respect his attack space and I stay clear of it. Trust me, when you see his new cage, YOUR GONA BE AMAZED!
looks nice. What're you going to do, when he grows up?

A very nice cage for now. But there's no way that will hold him as a full grown adult.

"it allows him to get natural sunlight"
He needs UV lighting.. Glass acts as a filteration, and your blinds are closed..
Nice enclosure though..

You need to do some reading up on dwarf Caiman. They don't need nor like that much water. Water is supposed to be something like 1/3 their enclosure size.

Hi, i just got 2 turtle filters like you have for my dart frog tank, and they both get air in the tube and finally the water leaving is faster than it is going into the filter so finally it just stops working. Do you have any advice?

Hello easterngarter:
Even though that filter is in the photo, I must admit, I took it back a week later.
