I found it in the place I live in hte Netherlands.
It is clear that it escaped from a terrarium.
I no longer have it. I have given it to a fiended snakekeeper.
We think that it is a (hybrid?) Pituophis species.

this is definatley not a species of pituophis. gopher snakes have a distinctive characteristic of having subdivided prefrontal scales giving the impression of four prefrontals when this snake clearly only has one pair (2) prefrontals. after speding an hour and a half trying to key this thing out i have come up with three conlcusions for sure. 1) it's not from the united states; 2) it's not from europe; and 3) it's not from eastern africa. thats it. after an hour and a half!

I do not believe it is a Bogertophis rosaliae. All the pictures that I have seen of Bogertophis rosaliae not even come close.
It is a shame that I have given the snake away to someone else. This person has sold the snake, so I have lost track.
