I haven't seen anything bigger than this guy, has anybody else seen a bigger salvator??

Nice pics. I saw one approximately the same size at the Hamburg, PA reptile show.

Jade, is the Hamburg show pretty big? I was thinking of going to that on June 5. Are there a lot of hots there?

Nice BIG water!
Yeah, the Hamburg show is full of amazing hots! Even large black mamba!
And they had a 12ft malayan king when I was there.

He was measured at 7' 8", however, he had a significant portion of his tail missing, so he would definately be over 8.5' in length. He also weighs over 100lbs- I believe he was weighed in to be about 110(ballpark). It was quite an experience to be with an animal this large and impressive, without having him turn around and lash at my arms and face..
