Can't tell for sure from the pic.. but it very much resembles the common sliders found in the petstores..

looks like a baby western pond from the length of the tail........can you get a more detailed pic, but from the pic it looks but not necessarily is a western pond turtle..........a more vivid photo would be of much help to what exactly the species is.......
