this spider looks alot like something we had in El Paso TX it might be a Banana Spider or also know as the "Child of The Earth" ....but it really depends on the size of the animal in the photo if it is larger than a dinner plate (roughly give or take) with its leggs spread out it is "The Child of the Earth" and should be given great respect, for the fact that it is of the Recluse family and we all know what happens when an american Brown Recluse bites you .... so if you see it again..... DONT TOUCH IT!!! if you like your hands where there at.... if it is smaller .... well sorry i dont know ...:<

it was the size of a small dinner plate actually..but i doubt its what u say it is...because this spider was found in the tropical forrests of borneo

forrests of borneo you say ? well then that is it .... what i for got to add was the fact that theis spiders come to the U.S. by shipments of produse fron Borneo, yes it is the Child Of The Earth... it is a Very neat looking spider...deadly but beautiful...*smiles*

what a great shot ,, but this is no branch this thing is resting on its definately wrapped around a small tree making this a pretty huge spider!!!
