Say dude! what's the size of those things in inches? Are they small or LARGE. Those are awesome looking and a awesome photo also.. Length and width please! Where do they come from? Forest? Beach? Desert? ??

i'm not sure what it is myself..i was told by a forrest ranger that they were trilobite beetle larvae. Those were found in borneo. normally found on tree barks. bout 2 inches long and they hardly move.

These are beetle larvae, normally from the family Silphidae.
They use to live on carrion and other dead stuff.

i checked out silphidae larvae on the net and they look nothing like the pic..further investigating revealed that they are trilobite larvae..

they are cool! but, just making sure everyone knows, trilobites died out back in the late Permian...about 300 million years ago. I'm not sure what these guys are, but they are definitely cool, and look like they dont taste too cool.
