Keywords: 33 gallon
Here is my new 33 gallon set-up. It still needs alot more work. I'm planning on making it look more natural when I have more time. Let me know what you think, good or bad.
I like your setup. it is visually interesting. Natural setups have good and bad points. I use both.

Thank you. What problems have you had with naturalistic set-ups?

I think they are harder to keep clean. I use sand in some of my enclosures and it is much easier to just replace paper towels then scoop sand. I also think some natural hides are harder to clean. I think it is easier to monitor the geckos eating and pooping with just paper towels and a simple set up. I don't think the geckos mind a simple setup my healthiest geckos are kept on paper towel with two hides and a water dish. You really have to figure out what suits you best. Natural desert terriums are really attractive.

Cheeto I'm not sure if you were talking to me? If so, I have slate tile not sand. Personally I think slate tiles look more natural than repti-carpet. Plus it is much easier to clean and there are no lost or stuck digits.

nice setup Lisa,
i use papertowels and my "natural" setup came out pretty nice, but if you want a loose substrate that wont cause impaction, go with the wheat cereal "wheatena" i've used it for a while now in my 40 and 20 gallon tanks, when my leos eat they almost always het mouthfuls of it and poop ot out later,w hen you put it in water its gets pretty soggy so the leos can digest it pretty good, you can probably find it in the oatmeal section of a supermarket

because sand is too risky, used it on my dragons first and it worked fine, its safe so thats why i use it

Lisa, Check out this book, Design and Maintenance of Desert Vivaria by Philippe de Vosjoli. This should give you many ideas for future enclosure design.
