From the head shape it looks like a Pseustes poecilonotus, a south american tree dwelling snake. The diet of Pseustes snakes is composed primarily of birds and bird eggs, but some specimens have been known to include beetles, grasshoppers, and moths. The total length of Pseustes poecilonotus is around 240 centimeters or seven feet six inches. Pseustes poecilonotus is also known as the neotropical bird snake or mica pajarera. Many specimens of this rarely imported species are much more dull in colouration and I would be interested in knowing the locality if you know it.
