Good question from lord of the herps, but I have to agree with ghostface. It all depends with individual animals/species. If you raise small turtles with small crocs, caiman and gators and they are both well feed you may never have a problem with the turtle nipping at gator toes or the gator nipping at turtle heads. If they are introduced with one being very much larger then you will have a potential issue. In the wild American Alligators are the true turtle eaters and its due to the ease of catching them. I have seen many turtle and crocs living together on this site and in many zoos. And it again all goes to size of enclosure, size of animals and available food for both.

I would agree because I my self have a gator that I keep with my dbt's, res's and even some large fish oscar, ciclids ect. without any problems. You just need to keep every thing well feed. Out of everything in the tank the ciclids I would say are the most agressive. At feeding time I try to feed at both ends of the tank to keep them from competing for food and this seems to work very well.
