Those are some gorgeous bookcases if you have vintage. Seems almost a shame to convert them but I bet they will be beautiful enclosures as well.

Here's a picture of one I did. Its the prettiest cage in the snake room. I have had it about a year and a half now, and I only have one snake who likes to get on the light. He only does this when Im cleaning and put him back into the cage, so while Im cleaning I turn off the light so it can cool, then turn it back on when he's done hanging out up there.
