Found this guy in my wood pile the other day. I've never seen one like it. I live in NH, can anyone identify this species for me?

If I had to guess, I would say that's a Leafcutter Ant. These Ants, as thier name implies, cut up leaves into smaller pieces they can carry, then transport them back to thier nests where they're used as food for a type of fungus which they raise for food.
