It's a crappy little store in woodbury. if you're familiar with woodbury at all it's the only pet store in the city.

What kind of skink did you get? Once I was at a petco and I saw that one of the birds was trying to bite the person feeding it, Well, the dude got mad and actually squeezed the poor birds head really hard! I ascked what the hell are you doing and he said it makes em learn easyer. Is this true!?!?!?!
My local petsmart is actually getting better!!!!! All the lizards have the right care, always see food in the cage, and they even have a big glass/ wired cage, where they keep 3 cockatoos that are always being held by the person who takes care of them. It used to be not that good...

Since Metroid was on the topic of DUMB people at Pet stores... I swear, 3/4 of the stores here, especially.. PETLAND, have really Stupid people working there!!! I don't know how these people get their jobs... If your going to work at a Pet store, espicially ones who carry fish, and reptiles... you kinda should have a clue what your talking about!!!! It pisses me off... see, now I'm mad... I'm going to Petland!!! :p

I hear ya man... It makes me mad to see, people not only knowing squat about the animals in the store... but they have NO CLUE how to care for them!!! We were at a store once, in the fish department... asking about a dog face puffer... and the kid had to asked three different people... and we still never got an answer... And all we asked was... were they came from? They didn't even know that!! I tell ya!!

hey snakelover take it easy everyone is entiled to there own opinion! but you are right that if the store isnt looking after the animals propley it is best to report them xx

ya snakelover..actually I'm 26... thanks though.... and second how does, being concernred about a animals well being make us iggnorant?... My pet store has one of the most knowledgeable men you'll meet, and we are affliated with alot of knowledgable breeders and hobbyist... And guess what, I challanged you to find a store.. around here that has better prices, on anything! So there goes your theroy on that one.. they can afford to pay for experience, and still satisfy the customer with kick ass prices... So prices, and knowledge... and we are a local privately owned small company? It is great that young people want to get into our hobby, and for them to learn that is wonderful, and they will learn. But a little pit of prior knowledge of the hobby would help..as to what to keep with what, and the temps... what needs what lights?... that's all I'm not expecting them to know everything about everything... just the important things!! And I know you apoligized.. but I still had to vent a little...

You guys can't say anything about petco unless you have visited every single petco and talked to all the employees. I happen to have a great petco with great animals and I even attend reptile shows with some of the employees!!!! The staff is hired to clean up poop and work the register!! If you go to a museum and the tour guide doesnt know her way around, thats when you complain!!!!

When I go to a petstore, I usally expect, to have all my questions, and needs met?... No... Unreasonalbe? Just like when I go to a retaurant.. I expect my cook to... well know how to cook.... Or I take my car into the shop...be able to fix it... No.. Still unreasonable? O.k. Maybe I shouldn't be iggnorant... and think every employee of "Petland" or "Petco"... Really I was just using "Petland as an example... doesn't know anything.... And really It is not their "fault"... They enjoy animals and that is great... But there are iggnorant kids who work there also... For example when you try to help one out, and give them some knowledge, on somthing they don't know.. Then they argue with you and don't retain that knowledge, to better help the next customer... That is when I get upset... So maybe I went about saying what I said the wrong way... Now I apoligize. Fighting over somthing this stupid is ...well stupid! It is obviously, the managers and supervisor's fault.. who don't educate their employee's... You can't argue with that... Because no matter how much you care for or love animals... SOMEONE..should be responsible.. for having some knowledge, and educating their employee's to care for their animals, and do the best job they can, to help out the customer's needs!

And all this crap on Kimbos picture???....lol...We should be talking about what a pretty girl Kimbo is ;)....BTW I dyed my hair BRIGHT red LOL....my mother was like OMG your kids are not going to even know you...hehe
