Other cool stuff we saw hiking East of Riverside

The same day we found the rosy, we also saw these three cool things. I think the snake is a sidewinder because of the little "devil horns" above the eyes.

where exactly were you? i live in riverside. i saw my first horned lizard about 3 weeks ago while riding in the san bernardino mtns.

I was "East of Riverside" relative to the guys reading this in Florida, but for locals I should say "Near Yucca Valley" (45 minutes east of Riverside)
