Hate to burst your bubble but that "defined" shell looks like pyramiding. It is caused by to much protien, and excessive feeding.

Thanks, my "fat turtle" doesn't have a shell like that. We recently cut WAY back on their diet, but I'll cut even more, Thanks for informing me

You dont really need to cut back on the diet, just dont offer as much pellets and animal matter. Feed her pellets/animal matter 4 times a week and on the days you dont, feed her greens like romaine lettuce.

thanks. I've got them on your suggested diet! Before they wouldn't eat any veggies or greens, but now they are!
