I keep finding these while looking for kingsnakes, etc. Temporary houseguests. I'm going to let them go in your backyard! ;) lol

Where do you live? I keep looking for Rattlesnakes (mojaves) but I only find ants.

West of San Antonio, Texas. 90% of the snakes I find (driving) are either diamondbacks or ratsnakes. Just look at a map (or terraserver.com) find some backroads surrounded by brush country and drive around for a couple hours around midnight. You should see one sooner or later. Mojave's are cool. But even more toxic than atrox. Hint: use a net on a pole and an icechest with secure lid. Much easier (and safer) than pinning down and a snake bag.
