looks 2 me like a saw scaled viper. they're small but they have a lot of venom

no its definatley not a saw scaled viper because saw scaled vipers are more in africa and i dont even theink saw scaled vipers are in south america but i still think its a fer de lance

I think it's of the Bothrops genus for sure, and it seems to be arboreal, but I don´t know what species is exactly.

That is definitely not a saw-scaled viper. You can tell by the head. A saw-scaled viper has a more rounded head, and this bothrops specimen has a very angular head. Also, the pattern is very cryptic and defined, whereas a saw scaled viper has a more muted pattern.

Looks like a Bothrops asper(Terciopelo) to me...aka fer-de-lance
