Keywords: widow

This spider was about half an inch long and has the same shape as a black widow however it's body was very light brown or white with light brown stripes down the sides of the abdomen. Located on the underside of the leg of an outside table. Las Vegas. 100F.

This is a juvenile Black Widow. Note the swirling stripes on the abdomen. As the spider gets closer to adulthood it'll take on the classic black color with the red hourglass marking. Even as juveniles the females are still every bit as potent as the adults.

Thanks for the (rather unerving) feedback. I had a feeling it was a black widow infant. We have our property sprayed once a month adn this is this is the first of it's kind I have encountered. Any additional tips, other than to check every so often and dismantle the webs? Also, I saw no sign of an adult, would it likely be around too?
