Trying some experimentation to see if we can get her dark lavendar to come out, rather than washing her out into a white phase.

hey chance, just with my semi knowledge of photography and digital cameras, you might wnt to try to put your beautiful lavendar retic on something that is lavendar itself to pull out the color of her. hey its worth a shot right? lol

also dont use the flash of the camera, turn the flash off and either use natural light or some flourescent light over top of her. that might help ya get the pics you are looking for

Hey Ryan. Actually, in this picture, the flash was turned off, and she was placed on a black t-shirt to try to bring out her "dark side" lol. I'll see if I can find a purple or lavendar background and put her against it, see what that does. Every time she sheds, she gets darker and darker. I swear sometimes when I look at her, at least the first half of her body looks like a purple. So maybe with her darkening more and more, I'll be able to get pictures of her that at least make her look like a typical lavendar...lol. You need to come by and take a look at all the menagerie. Though the venomous are gone (can you believe it!!! what am I thinking?!?!), I'm about to pick up a pair of Centralian pythons as well as get some new large Vision cages for the retics. So whenever you get a chance, just get ahold of me.
