Calico Hypo

what is a calico boa????
I have seen boas thatare partly albinos, - a paradox albino. But what makes that a calico?????

Hello, until the user/author post their REPLY. I can tell you I produced 2.0.0 of these in 2002 & 2003 respectively, maybe more as in 2002 I sold 36 of 42 neonates within the 1st (3) months. What makes it a CALICO is the fact that they are born with normal coloration/pigment I.E. normal or hypo in my case. @ the 7th & 6th month after an unusually LONG SHED CYCLE, BOTH emerged as a TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOOKING ANIMAL as if someone removed the previous animal & replaced him with this NEW snake!!! With all snakes you are BLESSED with a new looking animal @ every shed cycle. With this CALICO MUTATION I have seen a different looking animal @ every shed cycle since what I call the CALICO CUTOVER SHED & who knows what will be the FINAL END RESULT??? Absolutely zero down side to me. People who have seen these (2) in my collection swear that although the NAME TAG remains the same, that it is a DIFFERENT animal @ their next viewing..

oK, now I understand.
Cuz it looks like a common hypo boa.
So how dramatically do thay change anyway????
ANd is it only the color or does the pattern change too??????

Reply to BOAZ... This CALICO MUTATION is COLOR specific. The 2002 male "KRAKEN" displays a DARK EXTREME variation, 2003 male "CALIBOS" displays a LIGHT/WHITE variation. Simply click on my gallery to see the transformation of "The Kraken" & "Calibos".Peace..
