i bought a house gecko once from petsmart that had a big tumor on its back, and an eye that was actually growing bigger and bigger. the eye eventually popped, and i put him to rest. he wasnt well off. but if its just blindness in one eye, im sure it could adjust...if its just a hatchling you'll probably find out soon if it will survive or not. theres a chance it learns to use its one good eye, but depth perception could make it hard for the lil guy.

As long as I can get him/her to eat, thats all that matters, either on his own or by hand. 90% of the time I hand feed my geckos and BD anyway. I really enjoy it, and they look forward to it. Its cute, as soon as I open my gex (the parents) tank, they all come out of hiding, its funny cuz ya can hear the noise of the fake plants rustling as they are crawling off them, then they sit there and wait to be fed. The lil piggies lol

So if it does affect its hunting, I will just hand feed it all the time. Doesn't matter if thats the only way he might be able to eat cuz he isn't going anywhere. Hes staying with me :)

And gosh, you should see how active he is, more so then its sibling "Boing". It is always on the move to escape out of his/her cage. lol So.. as of right now, it doesn't seem to be affecting him/her :)

BTW.. This lil baby needs a name.. Anyone have any suggestions?
