This is my body mod courtesy of a motorcycle. My body rejected the first skin graft but the second three went okay. And the muscle graph, rods and pins and nails are awesome too.
dude, i ride myself so i can't help but ask what happened that you went down so hard?

The acident happened last August. I was on a backroad and downshifted while I hit some cinders so the back wheel locked and I slid into (and wrapped my shin around) a guard rail. Almost 5 weeks in the hosptial and 7 surgeries. It was a compound fracture (both bones came through the skin). Now it is almost a year later and my tibia just started to grow last week finally and my fibula will be broken permanently.
I lost my full ride scholarship, my job, the use of my leg as well as 6 months of my life. But, hey, could have been worse, right? I'm lucky to be alive considering I was going 50mph.

FROM THE LOOKS OF IT YOU'RE DAMN LUCKY YOU DIDN'T LOSE THE LEG ALTOGETHER. GLAD TO HEAR IT'S STARTING TO COME AROUND THOUGH. HANG IN THERE MAN, THE MATERIALISTIC STUFF CAN BE REPLACED IN TIME. THE PHOTO ONLY GOT 1/5 BECAUSE GIVEN THE SMALL WIPE OUT I HAD I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW BAD THAT HAS TO SUCK.

Hope you heal fast. My boyfriends cousin lost his leg when he crashed his motorcycle. Get rid of it. Why risk it.

That must have been one slick bail... I love to dirt bike and the adreniline rush u get...it just awsome especially when your being chased by peeps wh hate bikers. It always nice to have a crazy wipe to pump you up with more adreniline, when u go out next time......u still ride? Can u walk good, must havehurt so much that u could't feel it. thats what it feels like when u get hit by a car...!!!..................................... peeps cant see whats in front of them....awsome pic tho, thats somethin to remember...

I'm done riding. I really loved it and I still miss it so bad when I see somebody go by on a bike. But I can't take the risk anymore. It changed the entire course of my life. I lost my full scholarship, was medically discharged from the army, I'm in debt and I'll never be able to run again. But I know what you mean, there is no experience like riding a bike. My mom took 2 months off from work to stay with me and help me get back on my feet. I was completely independent paying all my bills before, but now she pays for just about everythihng because I've got no money. It wouldn't be right to hop back on a bike and ride again, because I'd be throwing it all back in her face. Too many people in my family sacrificed for me. I miss it, but I'll never get back on a bike again.
