This spider was near the path next to a lake...it's web was messy, and had a female near it, with another smaller similar spider in the same bush. I took several pics of it but couldn't get a clear shot of it's abdomen. Sorry! Any clue what it is?

Turns out this is some kind of mecynogea spider. The web, when looking closely, looked like a contact lens, like convex! Very interesting! I'm sure it's not a basilica spider, but I sure would like to know what specimen it is!
