Skinky's New Terrarium 2

Nice and roomy looks great. When is he most active?

He's most active betwwen about 11:30 and 4:00 P.M. Sadly he spends most of this time scratching at the walls trying to escape. I thought a bigger terrarium would change that but it didn't really help at all. Any sugestions anyone?---Constructive criticisum is welcome!

So how long is this tank?
For example 150 X 50cm, or so, should work well, and bigger is better.
You should put more sand, so he could dig as he naturally would. (I mean something like 15-20cm thick layer of sand)

the measurements are 36x16x18(in inches)But there is now way I am getting a bigger one. My parents finaly let me get this one and it's brand new. I'll put more sand in it, thats for sure though. Is like four inches good?
P.S.- I'm new at all this so if there is anything I could put in my skink's terrarium to make him more comfy please tell me. Thanks everyone!

Well that terrarium is passable, and 4 inch. layer of sand should be ok.
I have to say, that allways should be prepared to give much bigger terrarium than those minimum measurements for lizard. And this is haveto think when you buy it.
And I´m sorry for using cm unit.
I recommened a terrarium sized 59x20 inch. and 6-8 inch. sand layer. (but 4 is ok too)
