Description: This is my 3 year old daughter with my juvenile California Kingsnake. It's her favorite and she plays the kingsnake more than with her Barbies, hence FHA.......lol

Thank You. We should get more kids and youngsters in snakes because I really believe the bad stigma of people having fears of snakes is a learned behavior. My duaghter likes brings her snake to her daycare/preschool and all the kids, especially the younger ones, just love seeing and handling the snakes (kings and corns). Its the teachers and the some of the older kids that show fear/discomfort and its a learned behavior. Snakes have a terrible stigma in American society and the Judeo-Christian religions. People in general are not born with this stigma and fear of snakes it's a conditioned response.

Thank You Mom. My daughter started handling very young and my kingsnake used to be terrified of her cause she could be little rough (running through the house and holding the snake at the same time) but she learned from Dad the proper way to handle snakes.

Ithink you are doing a great thing, showing you children not to fear snakes and respect them, this is good they will later in life respect all animals and learn that all animals are here for a reason
