Looks like a blue phase varanus prasinus?

Anyone have any legit info on those guys? Are they a locality, genetic??? There sure aren't many out there that's for sure.

actually, all V. prasinus turn this color after being in captivity for quite some time. The same thing occurs in Green Basilisks, Mexican Alligator Lizards, and "blue" dumpy treefrogs... I forget the actual cause, but I would think it would have something to do with UV...? So this guy, desptie being absolutely gorgeous, and one of the best personalities I've ever seen in a tree monitor, he is nothing special, other than being a very healthy, well established Emerald Tree Monitor, who's been in captivity for over 4 years now...

It's a green tree monitor.

Basilsiks dont turn any funky color if you take care of them right.
