looks nice, mine is close, but just wanted to know how, and what you made the cage around your heat source from.

I'm building a cage for my BCI. It's 6x2x3. How did you build that great cage around the heat bulb to protect your boa from direct contact? I'd like to add one before I put her in her new cage.

i went to home depot and bought a roll of mesh, with careful measurments i cut out the shape i needed, and i bent it into a cage like taht ,its hard to explain really, sorry, but its just straight forward, get mesh and connect sides. ;) good luck on ur cage there. thanks for comments

I was wondering if that is a melamine cage or did you paint some kind of stuff to keep the water and moister off the wood?? Plus, were did you get the sliding glass tracks? I want to build that type of cage also, but cannot find good supplies here in Iowa.
