That tank is too deep for baby turtles.Where did you get them btw?I'm looking for a baby eastern painted turtle.

Actually it isn't too deep...I researched quite a bit and they have been doing great for about a month and a half. I got mine from Turtle City. I also got some from Arts of Nature, but I do not recommend getting them from there. My whole experience with them was a real pain.

The water is NOT to deep the deeper the better. Just gives them more room to swim. Hatchlings do great in deep water as long as they have a place they can rest. "Deep" water in a tank isnt even deep. Its only like a 1ft if that.

Yeah, in the wild they won't be livin in a puddle, you find them in lakes, ponds, rivers... all of them are alot mare than one foot deep.
