I have, they have a lot of veins in them. I expected them to mold, but they have been fine for about 4 1/2 weeks now...

hello josh,
when the eggs get see through like that means too much moisture. i see alot of water build up in the sides of the deli cup. that could be the reason you are losing the eggs after they start to develop.try to keep them a little more dry. now dont quote me onthis this is just an opinion trying to help.

josh,
well then the female probably needs some more calcium to build a harder and healthier egg shell.. good luck with these eggs, and all the ones to come..

That's what I thought too. It kinda caught me off guard because all of her other eggs looked like the one on the far right...

it could be too things one she laid too many to close in time, or she regenerated spern and wasn't suplemented right for that cycle of eggs. it happens , example out of two carrot tail i have hatched a real nice baby ct and a high yellow looking baby whch later on developed into a hypo tang. some get all the genes some get a little i suppose. its all a mystery with these guys some times things happen even the experinced can not explain or even understand. good luck again also that striped ct you had is it still available.
