Do you think neutering my kinkajou would help calm his hormones.

You're just going to have to find that out yourself. I would put both the kinkajou and the coatimundi both in a cat carrier in the same room face to face about 1 foot apart for five minutes. If they show signs of aggresion, try again at another time. If they show signes that they want to play, let em at it! That is the only real way to tell. Someone might tell you that their kinkajou and coati get long but that doesn mean that yours will.

That is kind of a hard question to answer because all kinkajous are different. Mine occasionally poops and pees out of his cage. He also makes a small mess in his cage when he eats and of coarse goes to the bathroom. Other than that he is not a messy wild animal as some people may say. He is not loud at all. The only time he makes noises is when someone, other than his "bonded friend", get close to his food because he gets a little scared and starts to defend his food. As far as destructiveness goes, they can be very destructive if you dont kinkajou proof the room you guys will be playing in most of the time. The reason why I say the room that you'll be playing is that you'll fine that you'll start to get tired of chasing it all over the house, so you'll lock both of yourselves in one room and you guys will just play! You will also remove things from the room when you see that it is a potential breakable. I hope this helps.
