This is Nemo my Midland Painted Turtle. She lives in a 40 gallon breeder with her African Sideneck buddy Jaws. Both Nemo and Jaws had some toes eaten off before I got them...hence their names lol! But they get along great!
She is a he. Its a male Midland, you can tell by the extended front claws.

LOL Sounds good to me...I was trying to judge by his tail, but that didn't seem to work...his tail is right in the middle compared to females and males I've compared him to :) But you are right he just started growing those big honkin claws!
