...I was REAL lucky to get her back...my dog of 13 1/2 years had just passed away and I wasn't thinking straight...I moved a plant in the pond that was getting too big and I moved it too close to the edge...giving her a perfect 'bridge' to escape and go lay eggs...she just laid 5 eggs two months earlier so she was due...she just started laying last year but so far I have not had any success with the eggs...

Sorry about your dog. Have you thought of putting something with soil in the middle of the pond so that she can lay eggs in that like a sweater box or cat litter box with soil.
If you get an albino male albino babies sure would be amazing to get from her.

Lia...thanks...yes, I do have a container for her to lay in and yes I do have an ARES male...I'll try and post a picture of them together...Sam...her shell length is almost 9 inches...
