I like the pic as it shows the animal's intense colors but I was under the impression that these guys were to turn yellow. How come every person that managed to pay for these guys has posted pics of them only being solid green and just red eyes? Don't get me wrong, the colors are intense but I would think that during breeding they would show their best colors and so far it is only green.
Has your male turned solid yellow at any time yet?

The male Mafana does turn yellow, when
another rival male is presented to him.
I plan to take pics of him, presenting
his yellow phase at a latter date. He is
at the end of his acclimation process. He is very relaxed in this photo, and it
represents his normal coloration. The Mafanas do not seem to display their intense yellow coloration, when presented with females. Thanks for comment on the eggs!
