lol that last post made me laugh but either way what happened to your king after he was bit did he show any ill effects or none the worse?
I know someone fed their king a rattle snake on this board and it as fine wanted to know if same with copper head.

Mike, Just curious, was the copperhead a captive bred animal or wild caught? I only ask because of the possible pararsites. By the way, the picture is cool.

montooth.. it was w/c.. dor i hit hit with my truck... it still had a lil life left in it but surely would of died.. I dont sweat the parasites to much as this is not the 1st time i have done this and never have had a problem... pe@ce& chicken grease mike..

that is a awsome picture in my old state of michigan I found a timber rattle snake that was recently hit by a car and was dieing so i feed it to my california king snake.

I would be nice to see sequence of photos of the stalking and the battle. I put a baby rattlesnake in with my Ruthven's Kingsnake and was amazed how the rattlesnake just froze and my snake just crawled right over it and never showed any interest. Later I thought that maybe the snake could injure my snake if those fangs penatrated an organ or the head.
