Keywords: Monocled Cobra Naja Albino Venomoid

Here is my venomoid albino monocled cobra, Naja. I did post some of his old pictures before so some of you may know him.

I didn't see him for about 3 months so I really missed him. My friend is looking after him right now.

He is about two feet long and he has no scars or any other sign left from surgery. Totally healed...

Enjoy...

I don't totally agree with venomoids, but that doesn't mean I'm against them either. The animal in question is healthy and is feeding so I don't see anything wrong with it.
BTW, what's a poisonous snake?

Sorry...

What the hell does IMHO mean? I get LOL ("laughing out loud"). I get BTW ("by the way"). I get HAHA ("ha, that was funny, ha!"). I get ROTFLMAO ("rolling on the floor laughing my ass off"). I get ISCBINB ("I still can't believe it's not butter"). And I even get HSTFSITFW ("holy sh*t, that f*cking sh*t is the f*cking worst").

But what the hell does IMHO mean? And IMO? I see that, too... I'm lost.

...Sorry

I love this snake. It always cracks me up when people start in about the godawful change a snake must go through to acclimate to becoming a venomoid.

As if snakes were ever meant to be slapped in an enclosure with a heatsource and a prey item thrown at them every 10 days or so. SO by the logic of these "no venomioid whiners" none of us should own herps.

I did get some negative remarks about venomoids before but they were at least making some sense in a scientific point of view.

But this time it just makes me laugh.

Especially I loved the remark about 'cutting balls and still feeding' remark :):):)

My snake had an operation by a skilled surgeon. He was put the sleep before the operation and treated with pain killers and antibiotics after the operation. He started eating immediately and healed totally in a couple weeks. He looks normal, his body functions normal and the most important thing is he is not aware of what had happened to him.
Where do I know that? Well he still bites to kill.,
And also I have seen venomoid spitters which still tried to spit.

These animals are not human! They can not get pissed for something like that cos their brains are not that complicated.

Come to me with some scientific reasons. At least claim that venom is used in digestion or something like that so that I can show you a little more respect.

ps: I do not freehandle my venomoids except for some rare special ocations (ex. photo shots or cleaning remaining shed etc.) so it does nothing to do with egoism. I just love these animals and can not take the risk of getting bitten.

My only argument is that is takes away from the naturaul mystique and interestingness(if thats a word)of the snake.

First of all the word mutilated is harsh. I'd go by altered in this case.

If you believe in evolution, then the snake evolved venom glands in natural habitat because he needed that venom to live in there.

However they will lose this option of venom in captivity after so many generations becausethey don't need venom in my cage. I am just speeding up the process.

And its not because I wanna touch the little guy but its because I wanna keep living after I changed his water bowl.

And I am totally fine with it if the procedure is done humanly. (Of course I am against garage hack jobs).

So please mind your own business.

ps: Who told you that I can not afford a porsche anyways? ;)

i dont think its any worse then spading/neutering.... granted its not a "norm" compared to spading/nuetering in dogs/cats

atleast he still has his sex drive and his balls, lolz

Sorry about the 4, but it is a v.v, you could of gotten a better pic! lol.. Your coment about living after a water bowl change is great! My question is , it seems to be a young animal, will you have to replace the mouth boobies as it grows? i can't spell silycon..syilocan...slipocom...what ever...
