Keywords: Housing for California King Snake

I just changed her tank a few days ago. I use to have the wood chips and just the log. I added the plant with a branch and put down the reptile carpet, she is much more active now with something to crawl around on, but the only thing I need to figure out is what I can use for a hiding spot on the cool side. The last thing I need to know is what is the best way to feed her because I wanna start feeding her in the tank now. I plan to drop the mice in the front, left corner when she isnt looking, would that be ok?

I wouldn't suggest feeding your snake in the same cage as she stays... reason is she doesn't know that when you come in to pick her up if you're feeding her or if you're just grabbing her... you know.. but i've also heard that some people haven't had problems with it... I just wouldn't do it... bad ass snake though...
