This is only her 2nd live mouse. The first one she missed her first strike, got it on the second strike but spend the next hour trying to get it down feet first. She aced it this time!

You know people are gonna give you sh!t for feeding live, so let me be the first. You know you are risking your snake getting bit blah blah blah.

Yeah you really are, no matter how dookie says it. Its a lot more convienient to feed frozen anyway.

I NEVER leave our snakes alone with their food. I always watch until the mouse is dead and on its way. If any teeth get in the way I'll intervene. Haven't had to yet.

I agree, and no matter how much you watch accidents DO happen. Its sometimes out of your control. Mice are very fast creatures, too fast for the human hand to intervine.
