Isn't that a little too much water for a Pac man frog?

that is WAY too much water for a pacman, it could drown even if thewater was the depth of his body. Y ou seriously need to do some research

Thats a terrible setup.
1) The substrate(bedding)of the tank should be a material such as Bed-A-Beast, or sterile soil. This material should cover the bottom, and be a couple inches deep so your pacman can bury init.

2)Their should only be a small water bowl/dish for your frog to soak in.

3)Your frog can/will drown in that deep of water

4)Your frog can get impacted with that gravel

5) RESEARCH WHEN YOU BUY A PET!

Hi! this is Crazy4s G/F...I appreciate your concern, however, I had a dinner plate sized pac man frog in the same environment as this, for 5 years, he is still kickin and never been impacted. We hand feed him, so there is no worries of ingesting gravel. I have seen many tanks done with peat or other soil. I like this set up, and it works well for all of us. I apologize if you don't agree with me. Chub chub is happy and healthy. This set up also allows us to have his food on hand at all times... He likes to swim around and up root his live plants. :-) Thank-you for your concerns, I did not post this picture to start controversy, but to share my ideas. Sorry in advance to those who don't like it! Crazy4s Crazy Gurl :-)

Just because your frog is alive and kicking does not mean you have him in a suitable environment. There are reasons why all the legit pacman books available do not suggest any habitats anywhere close to this set up. Just because you like it and one of your pacmans has survived in a set up like this for five years just means you have a lucky frog. If someone made you live underground in a sewer like a Ninja Turtle you would still live right, but you'd still have a hell of a hard time. This is how your frog feels. Hope your frog got some swimming lessons before you put him in there.

You know what this proves it, there are dozens of so-called experienced herps just itching to give someone advice. When in reality, althought they will never admit it their experience is always limited. Let Crazy raise his Pac Man the way he sees fit. Obviously, if it works for him and his frog everything is CHILL. You guys keep your advice to yourselves or put it to practice when you actually get a PAC MAN

Do you want pics. I will give you pics. What is your email adress? And it doesn't matter how much the owner of the frog likes his set up, its not a proper set up. There are several different types of suitable set ups for pacmans people can chose from, this is not one of them. And I did not give advise, I just told it how it is. Get a book by a well respected herp expert and find out for yourself on how a pacman tank should be set up. It is not an ugly set up, its just not for a pacman.

looks like a good setup for a small turtle.
