Whats wrong with my king?!?!

Keywords: skin mites?

Can any one help, my kings skin seem to be peeling off in chunks, and hes definately not shedding. I have recently bought a second hand vivarium which i think could have got him mites, or has he just burned himself, however like the image, the condition is spreading down his body.

thanks for the reply, he is in a 4ft vivarium with a heat mat at one side of the tank, and a heat lamp above, however this is not usually turned on, what would mites look like?

if its spredding bring it to a vet or get rid of it and cut your losses
