Keywords: 60 gallon tank
this is my new beardie i just got yesterday. i was wondering if the tank is too big or too small, if i need more furniture etc. just tell me what you think i should do, alot of advice and criticisms would help me alot

That looks like an alright sized cage to me, just keep an eye on him and make sure hes getting his food good and everything. As far as decoration goes add some driftwood for more perches and make his basking area higher to where he is about 6-9 inches or so away from the light. Then add some hides on both sides of the cage so he can feel comfortable and you could put some some plants in there for a nice decoration and you could also add a background of some kind which will also make him feel more secure. And also, i cant tell if you have one or not but he needs some source of UV light.

thanks jaymn. i bought drift wood that gives him many perches to choose from and it also places his basking area higher to the lamp.ive also bought some hides for him today. ive been watching my beardie closely since ive got him and it seems hes eating fine. all i need now is the background. thanks for the help.
