Olina's House

This is Olina's house. It is a 90 qt plastic sweaterbox from Walmart with holes drilled on all sides and the top for air/heat exchange. It is heated by a human heating pad under 1 side and the temps are GREAT!! It is about 3 feet long and maybe 15" wide, and tall enough where crickets (or Olina) can't escape.

what kind of substrate do u use?

For substrate, I use non-toxic shelf liner you can get at any dollar store. I get 5ft rolls for $2, and you can get multiple designs. It looks nicer than paper towels (although I do put one in the bathroom corner), no problems with heating, and it's easy to clean!

I think I am going to copy your idea. Is that ok with you? How high did you start the holes? Also how big are they?

WOW I'm flattered guys! I actually just saw brad posted up his checklist, and found out he was going to copy my setup (which I have no problems with at ALL), and then came to the pics area and saw that someone else wanted to copy too. I am SO flattered :-)
